BIMcollab - One platform FAQ

Explore all functionalities of BIMcollab in the new BIMcollab subscription from May 1st, 2026.

Updated today

BIMcollab MQA (Nexus) and BIMcollab CDE (Twin) are being brought together into one fully integrated platform. This creates a more connected experience and a stronger foundation for future development.

With this transition to a single platform, you benefit from a more streamlined experience, improved collaboration across models and documents, and greater scalability as your projects grow.

With the new BIMcollab Basic, Advanced, and Enterprise tiers, you gain access to all BIMcollab functionalities that were previously distributed across two separate subscription types: MQA (Nexus) and CDE (Twin).

All current subscriptions will transition to the new BIMcollab tiers, with two exceptions:

  • Nexus Essential will be renamed to BIMcollab Essential, with no changes in functionality.

  • Nexus Premium will be renamed to BIMcollab Premium and will include additional basic Document Management functionality.

📝 Note: If you have a BIMcollab Zoom license, please check the FAQ for BIMcollab Zoom.

⚠️ Attention: If you previously had a combination of MQA and CDE subscriptions, these will be merged into the highest applicable BIMcollab tier. The total number of users will be combined.
If you have any questions about your specific situation, please contact our Sales team.
