How can I change my BIMcollab password?

If you have forgotten your password or need to change it for any reason, you can request a reset on the affected platform. This article provides step-by-step instructions for all BIMcollab platforms.

BIMcollab ID

Your BIMcollab ID is an account linked to your email address, which is used to identify you across the BIMcollab Ecosystem. This password may be associated with your BIMcollab trial Space, BIMcollab Academy, BIMcollab Zoom single license, and your first-time login on BIMcollab Zoom or any of the BCF Managers.

  • Go to my.bimcollab.com, enter the email address associated with your accounts, and click "Next"

  • On the new page, locate and click "Forgot your password?"

  • You will be redirected to a new page with your email address filled in. Click "Request password" to receive a password reset link.


Alternatively, if you would simply like to change an existing password, you may sign into your BIMcollab ID account and change it directly.

  • Sign in to "my.bimcollab.com"

  • Navigate to the "Security" (Password) section, and click on "Change" to update your password.

  • Here, you will be required to fill in your old password, and then create a new password. You can also request for a new password here, if you have forgotten your password.


BIMcollab Space Account

If you need to reset the password for a BIMcollab space you are a part of, follow these steps:

  • Go to your BIMcollab space at "<yourspacename>.bimcollab.com".

  • Click on "Forgot your password?".

  • You will be redirected to a page where you can enter your email address.

  • Click "Request password", and you will receive a link to reset your password.
