Common causes and solutions
There are two main reasons why you may encounter an invalid password message:
1. Forgot your password?
If you have forgotten your password, follow these steps to reset it:
Navigate to your BIMcollab login webpage.
Click on Forgot your password?.
Enter your registered email address.
Follow the instructions in the email you receive to set a new password.
Ensure that you check your spam or junk folder if you do not receive a password reset email within a few minutes.
2. Using the wrong credentials: BIMcollab ID vs. space account
BIMcollab has different login credentials depending on the tool you are using. Using the wrong credentials is a common cause of login issues.
If you mistakenly try to log in with your space account credentials instead of your BIMcollab ID, you will receive an Invalid Password error.
If you recently reset your password but still cannot log in, ensure that you reset the password for the correct account type. Resetting your space account password does not affect your BIMcollab ID, and vice versa.
To reset your BIMcollab ID password, visit: my.bimcollab.com.
To reset your space account password, visit your company space. For example: company.bimcollab.com

Your BIMcollab ID is an overarching account, based on your email address, which is used to identify you within the BIMcollab platform. It contains your personal information and can only be accessed by you.

You are added to a BIMcollab space and do not yet have an existing BIMcollab ID.
You request a BIMcollab Zoom license trial.

A apace account is exclusive to the company BIMcollab space to which you are assigned.
