Issues show all model elements when zoom-in

Learn why all model elements may still appear after creating a viewpoint.

Updated over 4 months ago

When you still see all model elements despite having created the issues with only the visible components stored in the viewpoint.

There could be two possible explanations:

1. There are too many components linked to the viewpoint. When this is the case, you will get a warning from the BCF Manager when you create the issue. The components-in-viewpoint setting will automatically revert back to "None - shows whole model" You can also check this by clicking the info (i) option.

If there are no components in the list, this is what has probably happened.

To avoid this, make sure not too many components are visible when creating the issue. You can find more recommendations about it here: Create the best viewpoints.

2. The Quick zoom is active. When this button is activated / blue, only the viewpoint camera will be placed without taking visible and colored components into account
