BIMcollab seamlessly integrates with various BIM tools (like Revit, Archicad, Navisworks, Solibri, Tekla Structures, and more) for efficient Issue management through the BIMcollab BCF Manager.
What is the BCF Manager?
BCF Manager acts as a bridge between other BIM tools and BIMcollab. It is a powerful plug-in that allows users to create, track, and resolve project issues via BCF, directly within their preferred modeling environment.
Once you have downloaded and installed the BCF Manager for your BIM tool, you can identify topics that need to be resolved with other team members. You can use the BCF manager to create and share this topic as a BCF issue (BIM Collaboration Format). Synchronize issues between project teams, and open issues in any other BCF manager in the exact location in the model.
Each Issue can store camera positions and viewpoint information, making it easier to locate and understand the problem within the model when an Issue is selected. Users can filter issues to view those assigned to them, and additional details such as priority, comments, issue type, description, due date, and project milestones offer valuable context for efficient issue resolution.
