Improve model quality with IDS (Information Delivery Specification)

BuildingSMART's new open IDS standard is designed to improve the process of exchanging requirements in your BIM project. Its purpose is to represent the needs of your project by sharing a list of information requirements that IFC models must meet. By integrating IDS into BIMcollab Zoom, model checkers can easily check for any missing or non-compliant information in the IFC files.

We have fully integrated IDS into the BIMcollab ecosystem:
  1. Start by defining your project's specifications in BIMcollab Nexus
  2. Share these requirements with Revit modelers through our BCF Manager so they can refine models even before making an IFC export
  3. Use the specification for property validation in BIMcollab Zoom for automated model checking
  4. Track and resolve conflicts with Issues
