Can I limit who I share clash rules with?
No, you cannot limit who you share Clash rules and Smart views with.
The Clash rules are shared in a project and are available for all team members.
The Project leader does have the option to block editing rights for certain people. When the "ZOOM edit rights" option is disabled, the team member will not be able to add and/or modify shared Clash rules.
Shared conflicts include both Clash rules for clash detection and IDS specifications for property validation. Note that the two are created and shared differently:
- Clash detection rules for geometry checking are created and shared through BIMcollab Zoom.
- Property validation specifications are created and shared using BIMcollab Nexus:
Create an IDS (Information Delivery Specification) in BIMcollab Nexus
