Share the results of Lists with my team members

In this article learn how to share the results of Lists in BIMcollab Zoom application.

Updated over 3 months ago

💡 Tip: Do you want to advance your knowledge about Lists? Go to our BIMcollab Academy and enroll in the BIMcollab Model data extraction course.

💡 Tip: You can access shared List results on the BIMcollab Model WebViewer, allowing you to view them alongside your IFC file on BIMcollab online projects.

When a List is created in the shared node, its results can be shared in two ways. They can be either synchronized to BIMcollab spaces or exported to a file.

Share the results with BIMcollab online spaces

  1. Start BIMcollab Zoom application with an active license.

  2. Connect to the correct space and project.

  3. Go to the Lists panel.

  4. Double-click the List in the shared node for which you want to share the results.

  5. Make sure the Active model results are chosen in the drop-down menu at the top left of the List results panel (1).

  6. Click Share results (2).

📝 Note:

  • When 'Active Model Results' is selected, it displays the List of results from the most recent run. For instance, if new IFC files have been received and a new List needs to be generated based on these changes, this option ensures the latest results are published to BIMcollab online projects when the 'Share Results' button is pressed.

  • When 'Shared Results' is selected, it displays the List of results from the last time they were published to BIMcollab spaces.

Other team members will be able to view the shared results in BIMcollab Zoom and their BIMcollab space. For more information on how to view the shared results, consult the article View shared results of Lists.

Share the results offline

The results in a List can also be shared with others by exporting the table from BIMcollab Zoom application.

Click one of the buttons at the top right of the List results panel to create an export.

The data can be exported to:

  1. Excel format

  2. CSV format
