BIM applications that do not support the BCF standard
Communicating issues to the BIM engineer
Using the BIMcollab Cloud web application, engineers can find issues, view issue properties, read comments and resolve the issues within their BIM application. Clicking on a thumbnail will display the stored snapshot allowing users to see the location as well as any annotations.
Adding issues to BIMcollab
- Create a new issue
In BIMcollab Cloud, Create a new issue by going to the Issues page and clicking on the 'New issue' button.
- Edit properties
Give the issue a title, description and set the remaining properties accordingly. Ensure the issue is assigned to the proper team member and, if needed, add team members to the approval list.

- Add Images
Using your BIM application you can often export viewpoints as images or you can create screenshots. Click on the browse button to select the image and add it to the issue.

- Save
Save the issue by clicking on the 'Save' button
