Why does my name contain question marks in BIMcollab?

Learn why special characters in user names may appear incorrectly after importing users into BIMcollab and how to solve it

BIMcollab supports most character sets. However, when user data is imported from a file, special characters in names may appear as question marks if the file's encoding is not properly recognized by the system.


To correct your name:

  1. Log into BIMcollab.

  2. Click on your avatar and select ‘My account’.

  3. Edit your name
