A BIMcollab project provides online model viewing features. Users can choose from the standard BIMcollab Model WebViewer or opt for two other integrations: Autodesk Docs and Trimble Connect viewer, both of which can be enabled based on their preferences and project requirements.
⚠️ Attention: This feature is not available on all plans. To check if it’s included in your subscription, review the plan comparison list or contact your admin. If the feature isn’t available, you may need to upgrade your plan.
The BIMcollab Autodesk Docs integration enables users to view models from an Autodesk Docs folder, create new Issues, and assess existing Issues directly within the BIMcollab web application.
Use Autodesk Docs as your CDE and view the models in the BIMcollab WebViewer using a mirror from the Autodesk Docs viewer (Forge viewer)
⚠️ Attention: Every team member in the BIMcollab project who needs access to the models from Autodesk Docs in the WebViewer needs an account for Autodesk Docs and should have access to the models there.
