In Tekla, it is currently not possible to automatically save visible components in an issue. You can either save the selected components or no components.
The best way to link components to an issue, is to first select the components that need to be visible before you create a new issue. Limit the number of selected elements to the elements that are affected by the problem. After zooming to the issue, only these elements will be visible
To visualize the surrounding elements, follow these steps:
Zoom to the issue
To show the surrounding elements, choose the Tekla command View > Work area > To selected parts in all/selected views
Choose View > Redraw > Redraw all views
