Use the BCF Manager with a shared Revit model

Use the BCF Manager with a shared Revit model

When working in a shared model in Revit, it is possible to work with the BCF Managers as you would in a non-shared model.

Do take into account that the view created by the BCF Manager when zooming to issues has by default a generic name, which can lead to confusing results when multiple team members are using the BCF Manager simultaneously.

By setting a View Name Extension in the settings of the BCF Manager (e.g. name), one can easily identify and use their own unique view and avoid any conflicts with other team members.

Additionally the file name extension can be used in order to define your own personal view templates. For more information on this topic please read How to define the 3D view settings for zoom to.
