Share clash rules with my team members
Clash rules can be easily shared with team members within a project by following these steps:
- Start BIMcollab ZOOM with a ZOOM license
- Connect to the correct space and project
- Select the Conflicts panel
- Drag and drop the clash rule(s) you wish to share from 'Local' to 'Shared', or create them directly in 'Shared'.
To be able to add, edit or remove Clash rules in 'Shared', team members require
ZOOM editing rights.
Shared conflicts include both Clash rules for clash detection and IDS specifications for property validation. Note that the two are created and shared differently:
- Clash detection rules for geometry checking are created and shared through BIMcollab ZOOM.
- Property validation specifications are created and shared using BIMcollab Cloud:
Create an IDS (Information Delivery Specification) in BIMcollab Cloud
