Creating and zooming into 2D issues

Creating 2D issues

You can create 2D issues using authoring tools that support 2D viewpoints, such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Archicad. By downloading and using BIMcollab BCF Managers, you can easily create and view issues within these authoring tools. BIMcollab BCF Managers allow you to specify a location within the 2D viewpoint for the issue. However, it’s important to note that, unlike 3D issues, 2D issues are limited to the location within the 2D view and do not store any element GUIDs or other specific element data.

Zoom into 2D issues

You can view and zoom in on 2D issues within the same tool where they were created. However, if you try to open a 2D viewpoint in tools designed for 3D viewing, such as BIMcollab Zoom or BIMcollab WebViewer, you will encounter an error because these tools are not compatible with 2D viewpoints.
