BIMcollab WebViewer

The main (and free!) feature of your BIMcollab Space is the online Model WebViewer. This tool allows users to view, share, and manage BIM models online with ease. The WebViewer is the central connecting element to all other modules. It is available in each project and can store various models depending on your needs. In the Model tab, you can upload and visualize your models. The WebViewer offers a direct connection to BIMcollab Zoom, allowing you to sync models seamlessly, eliminating the need for local storage. Furthermore, from the BIMcollab Twin module, models can be shared and viewed directly in the WebViewer, making it easy to manage and visualize your project data. Additionally, through the BCF Managers in your modelling software, you can work on your models efficiently.

Key Features of the BIMcollab WebViewer:

·         Streaming Technology: Uses innovative streaming technology to open and visualize large, complex BIM models quickly and efficiently.

·         Integration: Seamlessly integrates with other BIMcollab modules, such as BIMcollab Nexus and BIMcollab Twin, allowing users to review issues and link documents to objects within the models.

·         Customization: Users can customize model views for specific team members by preparing Smart Views and Lists in BIMcollab Zoom and syncronizing them to the WebViewer, making it easier to filter.

·         Collaboration: Enables all stakeholders to engage in the BIM process, improving model-based collaboration from early design phases.

·         Accessibility: Available in all major browsers, including on mobile devices, ensuring that users can access their models anytime, anywhere.
