Adding communication to object(type)

Adding communication to object(type)

To add communication to 3D objects, go to the 3D objects module.
When the model is loaded, in the view, select the object (1) to which you want to add the communication. Then, in the right sidebar, open the Communication panel (2). There you'll find an Add button (3) for either the Object type or Object. Items added to the Object type are applied to all objects of that type, while items added to the Object apply to the selected element only. After clicking, a menu (4) is presented, where you can choose if you want to create a note, question or task.
So, for example, a question about the operation of a fire extinguisher is handy to raise for the entire the object type; while scheduling an inspection of a specific fire extinguisher is best done through a task added to that object only.

Once you've made your selection in the menu, a form where to add your note, question or task opens up. This form looks the same as it does when adding these items for general communication, only now the items are attached to the selected object(type) (1).
