BIMcollab Web Application

BIMcollab web application runs on any modern web browser that supports TLS 1.2 or a later version.
The following clients are known to be unable to use TLS 1.2. You can not use these clients for access to the service.

BIMcollab Model WebViewer
Supported Browsers
All browsers can run the BIMcollab WebViewer, but performance varies. Recommended browsers include the following:

For the best experience, use a 64-bit browsers and a minimum internet bandwidth of 40 Mbps.
When working with large models, a 100 Mbps internet connection (4G) is recommended.
Supported Devices
Any device with a stable internet connection can use the BIMcollab WebViewer. These include the following:
Mobile devices:
iOS Version 15 or later
iPhone - 6S, SE, 7, and newer
iPad - Air 2, Pro, Mini ,4 and newer
Android OS Version 11 or later
Only devices that support Web Sockets and WebGL 2.0
PC/Mac:
Minimal requirements are based on browser requirements. However, a dedicated graphics card is highly recommended.
Additionally, 16 GB RAM is recommended for medium-sized projects and 32 GB RAM for large-scale projects.
❗ Warning:
On mobile device, the performance of the WebViewer depends on the model size. While smaller models are generally viewable, large models require more memory than most mobile phones can provide. This could cause large models to load slowly or even cause the application to crash.
❗ Warning:
The WebViewer has not been tested in remote desktop setups. Performance and functionality may vary when accessed through a remote environment.

Virtual and remote desktop support
Most remote and virtual desktop solutions (e.g, Remote Desktop, Citrix, VMware, Parallels) use virtual graphics drivers, which typically do not support versions of OpenGL beyond version 2. As a result, BIMcollab Zoom performance and may be limited in these setups.
Some virtual desktop solutions can be provided with more advanced capabilities by employing solutions such as Nvidia’s Grid and AMD’s Fire Pro, but these have not been tested with BIMcollab Zoom.
Parallels Desktop for Mac
The Windows version of BIMcollab Zoom can run under Parallels Desktop, but this has not been tested.
For best performance, use BIMcollab Zoom natively on your operating system.
BCF Managers
The BCF Managers operate inside your BIM applications (e.g., Revit, Archicad, Navisworks).
Their system requirements are the same as those of the host BIM application you install them in.
