In the main window of BIMcollab Model WebViewer, you can access tools that help you customize viewpoints while navigating models and creating issues.
Toolbar types:
BIMcollab Model WebViewer includes two toolbars:
1. Constant toolbar: Is available at the bottom of the window. It provides quick access to viewpoint customization tools.
2. Contextual Toolbar: This toolbar changes based on your current selection. When you select an object, measurement, or section plane, relevant tools appear for that item.
1. Constant Toolbar
Restore the default viewpoint
Several tools in the bottom toolbar help you remove viewpoint customizations.
Restore view: Go back to the default view by clicking on the restore view icon. This option reverts back all types of adjustments. For instance, it unhides any hidden elements, applies Zoom to fit and removes any added colors or sections.
Show all: Unhide all hidden elements.
Zoom to fit: Use the zoom to fit icon to regain focus on the models.
Predefined views: here you can select a predefined view like front, back, top, bottom, right, or left.
Sections
In BIMcollab Model WebViewer, you can create up to six section planes and one section box to analyze your model.
Create section plane: to create a section plane, click on the icon and then select a plane within the model to define the direction of the section. The shortcut is to press "3" on your keyboard.
Create a section box: To create a section box ( 6 section planes at the same time) around the selected objects in the viewpoint.
Section handle: When a section appears in the viewer, click on it to reveal the section handle. By selecting this handle, you can move the section back and forth, adjusting it to required position.
Orthographic or Perspective view: Clicking on the three dots, reveals the option to change the view to Orthographic or Perspective view.
Measurements
There are three options that can be used in BIMcollab WebViewer to create measurements:
Laser measurement,
Point to point measurement,
Coordinate measurement.
To switch between measurement types, click the arrow to Select Measurement type.

2. Contextual Toolbar
For objects
When you select an element, a range of options becomes available. You can hide, isolate, and apply custom colors to these elements. Additionally, you have the capability to create a section box around the selected elements, providing a focused, in-depth view for analysis.
Hiding elements: The shortcut is to press "space" bar on your keyboard.
Isolate elements: The shortcut is to press "=" on your keyboard.
Create section box around all the selected objects.
Color the selected objects.
The number of selected elements.
You can select a category of elements from the Navigation panel> Objects and apply the customizations. You can also hold the CTRL key and click on multiple objects, object categories or models to have them selected.
For sections
When a section plane is selected, the sectioning tool box appears on the top.
This icon flips the section plane.
This icon removes the section plane. For instance, if you require only four section planes for your analysis, you can create a section box and easily remove the excess planes, ensuring you maintain your desired four sections. The shortcut is to press "Delete" key on your keyboard.
This icon removes all the section planes if there are multiple of them created.
This icon hides the section planes in the viewpoint. This feature comes useful when you've created your desired section and want an uninterrupted view inside the model.
For measurements
When you select a measurement, the measurement toolbar appears.
Some actions you can perform from the control bar include:
Flip a measurement which aligns the measurement line to where the opposite point was placed. You can see where this is by following the dotted yellow line.
Delete a measurement by selecting the ones you wish to delete and then clicking this icon.
Delete all measurements present in the model view.
View how many measurements are selected.
